Reporting to the Manager of Base systems & Cloud Operations and will be functionally assisting first-level technical teams
What You Will Do
- Setup and maintain the Automotive cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure Cloud
- Operate and Maintain container & Microservices orchestration environment Primarily on Kubernetes & AWS EKS
- Own and work on assigned cases and responsible for resolving issues raised within SLAs.
- Monitor the cloud resources and manage alerts per defined standard operating procedures, support building knowledge in operations, troubleshooting tools and methods.
- Analyze recurring issues and provide analysis reports to higher-level engineers to put processes and requirements for tools to support the customer better.
- Create technical documentation and procedures
- This position requires stretch hours if a P0/P1 incident is in progress and on-call duty 24/7
What You Need
- Candidate should be a B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in E&C or Computer Science
- Possess 3 to 5 years of IT services & enterprise support background.
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- 24X7 rotational shifts (including night shifts and Weekend/holiday support)
- Must have production support experience as the requirement is 24X7X365 production support for the client environment.
- Good knowledge of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes) Elastic Kubernetes Services EKS
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments AWS
- Good knowledge of container-based environments (Docker Containers)
- Knowledge in trends analysis using monitoring tools (Grafana or similar ) and logging systems (Graylog, Kibana, Splunk, etc ) and Prometheus-based metrics dashboards
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre, Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Alert management with tools such as PagerDuty, OpsGenie, etc..
- Networking knowledge around VPN, CIDR, subnets, certificates
- Knowledge of VPN, CIDR/Blocks, Security Groups, WAF
- Knowledge on load balancers such as AWS NLB ALB and F5
- Experience working collaboratively with Engineering, SysOps, DevOps, SREs, and Administrators
