This is a full-time role for a Sales and Business Development Executive at Chilzo located in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, negotiating and closing deals, and achieving sales targets. The Sales and Business Development Executive will also work closely with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Conduct cold calling, emailing, and outreach activities to generate leads and identify potential corporate customers
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate and B2C clients through effective communication and follow-up
- Manage the entire account lifecycle, from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Manage data related to sales activities, including lead generation, customer information, order details
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, production, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering personalized solutions
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and equipment needs
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales and business development
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
