Experience: 5 years to 12 years
Notice Period: 0 to 30 days Official.
Mandatory Criteria for BA:
As mentioned, our order of requirements is as follows:
- Experience in Insurance + DWBI (any one project is also fine)
- OR
- Experience in Insurance (P&C)
- OR
- DWBI + Any other domain
Additionally:
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have most worked with US/International clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Develop detailed software design specifications, including wireframes, mockups, and user interface designs.
- Creating user stories, backlog, and grooming stories effectively
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of client domain/systems
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Review of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Effectively communicating business needs and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
Experience
- 5+ years minimum
- Previous work experience with application and software development.
- Understanding insurance is desired
Required Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and their application to different project scenarios.
- Analyze and document complex business requirements, considering functional, non-functional, and user experience aspects.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Very good communication and client management skills
- Strong understanding and experience in producing high-quality deliverables like flow charts, process diagrams, use case documents, functional requirement documents, etc.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Good understanding of processes like change management, and agile methodology
