Sr. BI Consultant

Job Description:

Predicta Digital is seeking a seasoned Senior MS SQL BI Developer with extensive expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Modelling, and Dimensional Analysis. As a pivotal team member, you will bridge the gap between Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, Systems Support, and Customers/Users, consistently delivering timely issue resolution and driving exceptional business outcomes.

Experience:

6+ years of Business Intelligence experience and related IT development technologies (MS BI Stack, Azure DB, AAS, Azure Data Factory, MS Excel PowerPivot).

6+ years of SQL/TSQL experience, including creating complex Custom Views, ETL services,

Requirements:

Proficiency in Data Modelling and Dimensional Analysis.

Effective liaison skills between cross-functional teams.

Expertise in data cleansing and data quality control.

Proficiency in Query Editor for data source connection and model development.

Skilled in creating Calculated Tables, Columns, and Measures.

Development of custom and varied types of reports using SSRS.

Ability to create relationships between different data sources.

Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.

Agility in adapting to evolving technologies.

Responsibilities:

SQL development and administration.

Tabular Data Modeling in SSAS and AAS.

Data source connection, import, and transformation for Business Intelligence.

Visual report, dashboard, and KPI scorecard development using Power BI desktop.

Implementation of row-level security and application security in Power BI.

Building Analysis Services reporting models.

Crafting DAX queries in Power BI desktop.

Methodology design and project documentation creation.

Development, publishing, and scheduling of Power BI reports.

Creation of advanced-level calculations for prescriptive and predictive analysis.

Development of automated operational reports and dashboards using Power BI and other tools.

Must Have:

Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL stored procedures.

Strong analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and dashboards using PowerBI.

Knowledge of secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.

Proficiency in prototyping, design, and requirement analysis.

Nice to Have:

Past experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry.

Basic understanding of Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Inventory.

Previous experience with on-prem to Azure migration.

Location: BYOD Remote (with power backup and efficient broadband connection)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Start Time: 7 AM In the morning
