Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Copado Robotic Testing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Copado Robotic Testing. Your primary focus will be on automation testing, but you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall success of our Salesforce projects.
Responsibilities:
Automated Testing:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using Copado Robotic Testing.
- Create and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce applications.
- Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Copado Integration:
- Collaborate with the Copado team to integrate and leverage Copado Robotic Testing within the Salesforce development and deployment pipelines.
- Configure and manage Copado pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Work closely with the QA team and Salesforce developers to define test strategies, test plans, and test data.
- Identify high-risk areas and prioritize test cases for automation.
Defect Management:
- Report and track defects using established defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
Test Environment Setup:
- Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are in sync with production environments.
- Manage data and configurations required for testing.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testing aligns with business needs.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide testing insights and recommendations.
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Document and communicate automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on Copado and Salesforce best practices, tools, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance the testing process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Salesforce QA automation, with a focus on Copado Robotic Testing.
- Strong understanding of Copado's Continuous Delivery and Release Management platform.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Apex Test Automation, Copado Robotic Testing).
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Lightning Platform.
- Nice to have Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are a plus.
