Job Description
As an Application Analy in the Kalypso Oracle Practice based in Pune, India, you will work on a globally based team supporting Oracle Cloud projects for clients primarily in the US and EMEA. You will work with global clients, helping them apply leading practice integration solutions to their Oracle Cloud implementations. Our focus is on helping clients extract business value from the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain solutions, not just on making the technology work. In this hands-on role, you will help deliver Oracle Cloud solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Goods, and Retail. You will also help grow the practice by mentoring and leading junior members on the team and guiding them on leading practices in the implementation of Oracle Cloud Solutions.
Position Responsibilities
Participate in projects to deliver integration and technical solutions including hands-on implementation work
- Keep abreast of the new features and functionality within the Oracle Cloud technical landscape
- Support estimating efforts for sales opportunities by providing insight and input to project estimates
- Provide input to the solution architecture and technical design for project implementations including development and delivery of technical design and technical architecture documentation
- Work on new implementations, upgrades, support, and managed services projects as needed and assigned
- Remotely interact with clients to design integration and technical solutions that facilitate system interaction between the Oracle solutions and the client's existing applications
- Facilitate technical design sessions, system integration testing, and support data migration and User Acceptance Testing sessions as required
- Preparation of required integration and technical project documentation
- Demonstrate technical knowledge for software implementations including field-to-field data mapping, conversion validation, system and security configuration, user acceptance testing, and system integration testing
- Respond quickly and effectively to resolve customer support tickets and issues
- Provide clear status updates within the team and to our clients
- Manage flexible working hours with US teams and customers; this may require working late night outside regular India business hours
- Support sales/pre-sales team in responding to RFPs and developing demos and POCs for prospective clients
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to internal team members as well as client counterparts
- Contribute to internal initiatives and tool building
- Act as a strong team player willing to support other associates/colleagues and assisting them with problem solving for client support or projects
- Coaching and solution guidance as needed to less experienced team members
- Produce high quality deliverables that represents the Kalypso/Rockwell brand
Basic Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech. / MBA / MCA from reputed India College (or University) with first division (more than 65% or 6.5 CGPA)
Preferred Qualifications
- This position typically requires a minimum of 5 years of professional Oracle Cloud software implementation experience which includes 3+ years hands-on experience with implementation of multiple Oracle Cloud solutions in Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Planning. Experience with ERP Finance is a plus.
- Solid understanding and experience with Cloud paradigms and models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Hands-on experience on Oracle Cloud Solutions including FBDI/ADFdi data load processes
- Expert level experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Minimum 2 Years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud Services (OIC), Integration Cloud Services (ICS), and IDCS
- Experience with APIs and common Web Services standards and implementations, WSDL / SOAP / XML / REST / JAX-WS and Oracle SOA Middleware
- Integration with Oracle EBS (standard and custom) required, integration with JD Edwards and other on-prem ERPs a plus
- Knowledge of XSLT and XPATH expression language strongly preferred
- BI Publisher and OBIEE experience preferred
- Experience in Visual Builder (VBCS) will be a plus
- Experience in Process Automation will be a plus
- Knowledge of EDI, B2B and common XML standards (XCBL, CXML) a plus
- JavaScript programming language will be a plus
- Strong client interaction skills required
