What Youll Do
This role will be situated within the Sales and Marketing Center in Pune, India. The role will function as an individual contributor and will be part of the Analytics & Pricing team in Pune. It will involve collaborating within a cross-functional team to establish and maintain data processes that are sustainable.
The incumbent will have the responsibility of supporting the divisional strategy by developing and implementing a cohesive set of tools, dashboards, and analytics. The aim is to provide enhanced data-driven insights into business operations. The primary objective of executing this strategy is to establish a unified, reliable source of data. This will facilitate quicker and more accurate decision-making, streamline the reporting of key metrics, and employ advanced analytical methods and techniques to offer insights and recommendations for action.
- Lead analytical projects from conceptualization to execution and partner with the business in the implementation of the analysis for driving incremental sales and profits.
- Discover valuable insights within extensive datasets, empowering businesses to make more informed decisions by establishing a single, reliable source of truth for data. The primary emphasis will be on employing advanced analytics methods and techniques to furnish actionable recommendations based on insights.
- Design & build platforms and programs to collect, store, analyze and visualize data from various sources for specific projects
- Responsible for finding trends in data sets and developing algorithms to help make raw data more insightful to the users
- Strong business acumen- ability to understand business processes & user requirements to plan where data fits into the business model to build a data ecosystem to serve the business needs
- Provide ongoing analytical support to various functions with the systematic use of both historical and predictive data to make informed decisions.
- Identify and discover opportunities for utilizing advanced analytics methods and support in developing the competencies in the analytical team problem identification and problem-solving using advanced analytics/ statistics
- Provide guidance on data management, data governance & data visualization-related principles within the group
- Develop conceptual data models to improve processes, reduce risk and add strategic value to the business
Qualifications
- Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics. MBA degree or equivalent is (Marketing or Finance) preferred
- 4-7 years of experience manufacturing industry exposure preferred
Skills
- MS Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel
- Experience of working on tools like OBIEE, SAP
- PowerBI Development, SQL , R & Python
- Strong project-management skills; ability to manage multiple high-profile analytics projects.
- Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
- Working knowledge and implementation of Process Improvement tools and methodologies across businesses.
- Demonstrate the capability to build and maintain productive relationships at all level with key internal clients including business, operations and colleagues
- Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
