We are looking for a
Sr Adviser - Automation FAS (Power BI/SQL) in the Group Services division based out of Gurgaon to support the delivery of processes (captive and Outsource Service Provider), ensuring a performance driven organization with a commercial intent that focuses on customer satisfaction.
What The Role Entails
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to support the group's focus on improving quality of processes and services by leveraging his skills on SQL and Microsoft Power BI MS to extract, transform the data and produce quality reports/dashboard for senior leadership team. The individual should be well versed with power queries, logic building and functionalities to dynamically manage dashboards on Power BI service.

Scope Your scope will include (but not limited to) below
- As a SQL and Power BI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries to extract data from various databases and transforming it into meaningful insights using Power BI visualizations.
- Utilize your expertise in SQL and Power BI to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and monitor key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into efficient SQL queries, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Leverage your knowledge of Azure Data Lake and Data Warehouse to implement scalable data storage and processing solutions, enabling efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Use Power BI's advanced analytics features to perform complex data modeling, data blending, and data visualization tasks, providing actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Apply your proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyze large datasets, perform data cleansing and transformation tasks, and create custom formulas and macros to streamline data-related processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Excel, and proactively suggest innovative solutions to enhance data analytics capabilities within the organization.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations while handling sensitive data in SQL databases, Power BI reports, and Azure data platforms.
- Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
- Mentor and train junior team members on SQL query optimization, Power BI report development, Azure data platforms, and Excel data manipulation techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
About Yourself
We are looking for passionate candidates having
- Overall, 5+ years of experience in a global organization with multi-cultural discipline
- Extensive experience (min 4+ years) in the dashboard development using Power BI
- Excellent working experience and skills on SQL and database management (min. 2+ year)
- Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
- Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help stakeholders increase business value and performance.
