Sr. Admissions Counsellor/ Entrepreneurship Programs Manager is responsible for driving recruitment and admissions for the institute's PGCM in Entrepreneurship program. They will lead the admissions process, ensuring a positive and informative experience for potential students with entrepreneurial aspirations. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in PG/Masters admissions, preferably with a focus on entrepreneurship programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire admissions process for all programs, including application screening, interview scheduling, and evaluation.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract highly motivated individuals with a passion for launching and growing businesses.
- Conduct information sessions and presentations about the the programs, highlighting the curriculum, faculty expertise, and career opportunities for graduates.
- Evaluate applications according to established criteria and select qualified candidates with strong entrepreneurial potential.
- Liaise with faculty and other departments to ensure a seamless admissions experience for prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to the admissions process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in entrepreneurship education and best practices in admissions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant institutions, alumni with entrepreneurial success stories, and industry professionals.
- Oversee the work of junior admissions staff.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, with a focus on entrepreneurship (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PG/Masters admissions, preferably with experience in entrepreneurship programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in using student information systems (SIS) a plus.
