Role Overview
As a Senior Accounts Executive at edobo, you will be a pivotal part of our finance team, managing and overseeing all financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting. You will ensure the accuracy of financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and contribute to the financial health and growth of the company. Your role will require you to work closely with other departments to support our dynamic retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Handle all phases of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports, financial summaries, and analyses of accounting aspects, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.- Reconciliation and Corrections: Verify all account entries, identify discrepancies, and correct irregularities to maintain accurate financial records.
Compliance and Taxation: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and file returns as required.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software such as Tally, MS Excel, and other tools for efficient financial management. Maintain updated knowledge of auditing standards and financial regulations.
Bookkeeping and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions, including journal entries, and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping practices.- Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of all financial tasks.
Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Travel: Be comfortable with traveling as required to meet with clients, vendors, or attend meetings.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest financial practices, accounting standards, and technologies to drive continuous improvement in processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. Candidates with an M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Intermediate qualification will be given preference.
Proficiency in Tally, GST, TDS, and other accounting software is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and other related software tools.
Strong understanding of financial ratios, auditing standards, and cash flow management.
