As a SQL Database Administrator and IT Support professional with 4-6 years of hands-on experience, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced IT support
This role is required to work and can be performed remotely from 6 am to 2 pm IST wth possibility of rotational shift
All our coworkers are required to visit onsite atleast once a week (Typically Mondays) to meet the team
Responsibilities
Provide senior-level IT support, drawing on 4-6 years of hands-on experience in the field.
Utilize strong SQL skills to manage and support databases efficiently.
Help to identify SQL performance issues within our Customers software.
Work with our developers to derive performance solutions.
Demonstrate expertise in SQL scripting, specifically Transact SQL, for tasks like creating backups, restoring data, and writing scripts to enhance database performance.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, encompassing both hardware and software components.
Communicate effectively in fluent English, catering to a customer-facing support role.
Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in handling intricate technical matters.
Be available to work night shifts, indicating readiness for a 24/7 support role or supporting users across different time zones.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of proven experience in SQL DBA functions and general IT support, showcasing a strong troubleshooting skill set.
Solid SQL experience, including proficiency in Transact SQL.
Ability to identify SQL Performance issues, explain them and write up suggested changes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Comfortable working night shifts, reflecting availability for 24/7 support responsibilities.
