SQL DATABASE DEVELOPER (3+ Years)

Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Database Developer skilled in managing data flows, writing efficient queries, and creating insightful reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in database development, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and experience in database administration (DBA) activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Minimum 4 years of Experience in SQL Developer Role.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration and ETL:

• Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across various systems.
• Optimize SSIS workflows for performance, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Database Development:

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support various business needs.
• Maintain and update database schema, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and scalability.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data analysts to identify key metrics, data sources, and reporting requirements.

Database Administration Support:

• Assist with DBA tasks, including performance tuning, indexing, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor database health, ensuring data availability and integrity, while addressing any potential security risks.

Documentation and Best Practices:

• Maintain documentation for database structures, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Follow best practices for database development, security, and data governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL querying.
• Familiarity with DBA responsibilities, including backup/recovery and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
• Experience in reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS, or similar (preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of database management and warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to other ETL tools and data integration solutions.
