Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Oracle Database Administrator located in Noida. The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and ensuring database security.

Experience- 3+ Yrs

@ Must have experience in working on multiple production systems in a fast paced OLTP environment

@ Good knowledge of SQL server architecture and working . Should be familiar with server settings and best practices for production systems.

@ Experience in monitoring (proactive and reactive ) servers using native tools (logs, perfmon, Activity monitor , profiler , DTA , DMV's , extended events , script based alerts etc) .

@ Knowledge of third party monitoring tools is good to have but not mandatory.

@ Sound experience in handling basic and advanced backup-restore recovery tasks

@ Strong troubleshooting skills to handle issues at runtime and plan for remedial actions.

@ Experience in upgrade , migrate and consolidation projects.

@ Strong experience in some HADR techniques like log shipping , mirroring , clustering , replication , always on etc. Mandatory.

@ Basic OS troubleshooting including cluster
