The Team: The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support and protect the applications that operate our network. What's in it for you: We are seeking to identify a QA Analyst candidate with at least 5+ years experience in a structured testing organization in order to meet the needs of our client.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing testing engagements as per approach/plan & opportunities (functional/automation) by working closely with test lead/manager
Conceptualize solutions, present & deliver.
Work as per process, risk management & testing delivery defining KPI's & KRA's. Exposure to test management tools like JIRA etc.
Work closely with product team to understand the requirements from business perspective
Core delivery to Execute automated and functional test cases, review test results and report defects.
Coordinate with Product and QA teams to ensure the specifications are implemented in Gherkin format and thus easier implementation to BDD automation framework.
Design and write maintainable automated feature scripts using Java, Cucumber/Gherkin, and functional manual tests.
Writing SQL queries
Maintenance of UI automation tests for a complex web/mobile/standalone application in a timely fashion
Maintenance of backend automation framework and tests
Able to work as a domain SME for the team a
Extensive coordination with product and Dev team on requirement gaps and functional issues resolution
Coordination with the Performance test team to provide the necessary functional details.
What We're Looking For:
Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies, preferably Agile models
Exposure in designing Testing frameworks (Serenity, Cucumber, Junit etc)
Exposure to varied application stacks like MQ or Kafka
Understanding & Hands-on experience of Investment Banking Domain
Good understanding of Financial Products
Understanding of schema designing, XML messaging/MQ's & assisting BA functions
Trade Lifecycle & Workflow Understanding
A programming experience preferably in Java
Testing Certifications - ISTQB (good to have)
Domain Certifications - NCFM, CFA Foundation or equivalent (good to have)
Understanding on Reference, trade & market Data platforms would be an added advantage.
