Hudle up! We're looking for a Sports Business Manager to join our team, both at work, and at play!

Responsibilities

The role is an exciting intersection between business and operations. A Sports Business Manager is responsible for managing business & operations for Hudle sports facilities in a region with the help of a team. Some highlights of the role include,

  • Being responsible for the revenue, customer experience and operations of 20-30 facilities in a region.
  • Managing a team of 30-50 people directly and indirectly.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, stakeholders and other relevant people and businesses in the region.
  • Use technology and inhouse product team to solve problems at scale.
  • Be responsible for hiring, onboarding and team management overall.
  • Take complete ownership of venue operations, hygiene, branding and maintenance of the sports facilities.
  • Develop processes, policies and systems to operate the business smoothly.
  • Develop and submit business and data reports to upper management.
  • Develop an expertise in sports infra.
  • Develop an expertise in Hudle consumer and partner apps.
  • Represent Hudle with high ownership, integrity and professionalism.
  • Developing strategies to improve the top and bottom line of the business PnL.
  • Developing unique insight about consumers, sports communities, partners and overall region.
  • Achieve operational excellence using people, processes & tools.
  • Become a people, time, task & resource management master.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in operations/team management roles.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Past experience in sports-tech, QSR, Retail is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with Google Suite, Slack, and other relevant technologies.
  • Self-motivated, team player & willing to learn.
  • Ready to work in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.
