Senior Manager / Manager Sponsorship Sales
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager/Senior Manager for Sponsorship Sales, focusing on our upcoming AI conferences. The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience with a proven background in B2B sponsorship sales. Must have a strategic mindset, capable of driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a team to meet revenue targets. Strong understanding of the AI industry and relevant market trends is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on conference topics, identifying current trends, and preparing engaging agendas.
- Identify and target potential clients, sponsors, speakers, and partners for conference participation.
- Drive end-to-end conference execution, including prospecting, lead qualification, pitch presentations, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Lead B2B sponsorship sales initiatives, focusing on outbound calls to secure sponsorships, delegate sales, and exhibition space.
- Develop and deliver tailored sales pitches that align with the needs of potential clients.
- Manage lead generation, meet with sponsors, delegates, and speakers to close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including sponsors, partners, and delegates.
- Expand the client base by targeting both existing and new markets.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and optimize performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.
- Assist in the planning and execution of AI conferences, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
- Represent the company at conferences and networking events to build industry connections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sponsorship sales, by targeting Corporates for sponsoring Events.
- Proven track record of Hunting and Farming the Big Corporates and convincing them to sponsor events and pitching them the packages.
- Strong understanding of the AI industry and related market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing and leading a sales team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in selling to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Knowledge of AI and technology conferences is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
