Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire sponsorship opportunities for events, programs, or initiatives.
  • Identify and prospect potential sponsors through market research, networking, and relationship building.
  • Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of potential sponsors.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors throughout the sponsorship lifecycle, ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship benefits and commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, events, and finance, to coordinate sponsorship deliverables and activations.
  • Track and analyze sponsorship performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sponsorship acquisition.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote sponsorship opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sponsorship acquisition or partnership development roles, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors.
  • Excellent presentation and proposal writing skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and benefits to potential sponsors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sponsorship management tools is a plus.

  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating sponsorship agreements and contracts.

  • Project Management: Managing sponsorship deliverables and activations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the events, sports, entertainment, or media industry.
  • Certification in sponsorship or partnership management.
