Splunk Developer

Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Splunk Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Splunk solutions to support our organization's data analysis and monitoring solutions.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Design and Develop Splunk Solutions:**

- Design and implement Splunk solutions to meet business and operational requirements.

- Develop custom searches, dashboards, reports, and alerts within the Splunk platform.

2. **Integration and Configuration:**

- Integrate Splunk with various data sources, applications, and systems.

- Configure and maintain Splunk deployment, including forwarders, indexers, and search heads.

3. **Data Ingestion:**

- Develop and maintain data ingestion processes to ensure timely and accurate data collection.

- Implement and optimize data input and parsing configurations.

4. **Monitoring and Analysis:**

- Monitor Splunk infrastructure for performance and reliability.

- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.

5. **Collaboration:**

- Collaborate with other IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to understand data requirements and provide effective Splunk solutions.

6. **Documentation:**

- Create and maintain documentation for Splunk configurations, processes, and best practices.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members.

7. **Troubleshooting and Support:**

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk infrastructure and configurations.

- Provide support for Splunk-related incidents and escalations.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Splunk Developer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, configurations and best practices.

- Experience with Splunk SPL (Search Processing Language) for data analysis.

- Experience of working with Azure IoT devices and blob storage.

- Experience of working with repositories and tools like Bamboo and bit bucket.
