About The Job:

• Data onboarding from different sources using agent based HEC, scripted input, api methods
• Writing parsing rules (filtering, masking) to optimize telemetry data
• Creating knowledge objects for accelerated searches
• Writing advanced SPL queries to build business requirements
• Building dashboards based on business requirements
• Design and development of business reports
• Alerts and reports configuration as per the user requirements
• Analysis of Security logs for vulnerability checks
• Interaction with Business team for requirements gathering and delivery handovers.
• Good to have SPLUNK architecture design knowledge - Distributed / multisite environment.
• Good to have Scripting knowledge - Python and Unix Shell scripting

Essential Job Functions:

• Splunk Enterprise 6 Cluster Administration for large scale multi-site deploymentsSplunk - Advanced Search Reporting and Dashboard implementation
• Splunk - Creating Knowledge Objects
• Experience in Linux operating system (Red Hat 6.5 & above preferred)
• Windows 2008 (and above) server administration
• Scripting knowledge (Python Bash PowerShell & Batch)
• Basic Network Protocol knowledge (TCP/IP DNS SMTP SNMP UDP etc)
• Familiar with the following Web technologies - HTML CSS JavaScript & Simple XML
• Experience in SIEM solutions
• Experience in Splunk Software Upgrades
• PCI DSS
• Splunk Enterprise Security

Qualifications:

• Splunk Enterprise 6 Cluster Administration Advanced Search Reporting and Dashboard implementation Scripting knowledge (Python Bash PowerShell & Batch)
