Job Description

Job Title: Guidewire Specialist

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Kochi

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Policy Center Rating and Product Designer, as well as a deep understanding of the Guidewire framework and the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. This role involves working on development and implementation projects, cloud upgrade projects, and configuration tasks related to the Guidewire Insurance Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement solutions using Guidewire Policy Center, including configuring rate books, rate tables, and rate routines.
Design and modify existing workflows, and implement rules using Gosu scripting.
Work on cloud upgrade projects and gain experience in development and implementation.
Apply advanced knowledge of Product Designer and provide expertise in the Guidewire platform components.
Utilize Guidewire's messaging framework, batch processes, and work queues efficiently.
Integrate with web services (SOAP, RESTful) and manage authentication and document management system frameworks.
Perform tasks related to PolicyCenter PCF, underwriting issues, forms, and activities.
Design, implement, and maintain data models, XML, GXModel, and messaging frameworks.
Collaborate with team members on Oracle or SQL Server databases and perform SQL queries as required.

Experience Requirements:

4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating and Product Designer.
Advanced knowledge of Product Designer; experience with Advanced Product Designer is a plus.
Proven experience in development and implementation projects and cloud upgrade projects.
In-depth understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain and Guidewire framework.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Guidewire Insurance Suite, including Gosu scripting, PCF, and Data Model.
Proficiency in Policy Center PCF, underwriting issues, forms, and activities.
Experience in configuring rate books, rate tables, and rate routines, and implementing rules using Gosu scripting.
Working knowledge of web services (SOAP, RESTful) and strong understanding of the Guidewire messaging framework.
Proficiency in Batch Processes, Work Queue, Integration Views, GX Model, and Templates.
Expertise in plugins, Guidewire Profilers, and workflows.
Knowledge of authentication, document management system frameworks, and proficiency in SQL with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
