What will you do

  • Process Definition and tailoring for IT organization process (SDLC, Agile, Infrastructure, risk and compliance, information security) in line with CMMI/COBIT or any other framework and build the quality management system (QMS)
  • Lead the Process Quality Audit Initiative to ensure QMS is implemented consistently and effectively across the organization.
  • Focus on data and problem solving to achieve business outcome.
  • Skilled at consulting clients, communicating effectively, leading change, facilitating learning and modelling improvement culture.
  • Drive the transformation to a value stream centric organization (e.g., customer focus, measure and manage, drive out waste, improve quality and consistency of work processes, cross-functional line of sight, etc.)
  • Coordinating with global teams for process changes to QMS
  • Facilitate implementation of measurement indicators at various levels based on customer expectations and providing meaningful analysis.
  • Coordinate with other Sunlife locations to share best practices.

Your scope of work / key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • PMP and Agile certification is preferred.
  • Insurance industry knowledge is an added advantage.

Key Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum engineering degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Hand -on knowledge of CMMI or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
