Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded Finance Business Analyst to join our finance team. This colleague will play a key role in providing support for finance operational processes. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, proficiency in financial software, and a deep understanding of financial and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor money flows from inbound fiduciary bank accounts to outbound payees
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies in the reconciliation process
- Review daily bank reporting and provide to GL for balancing
- Develop, Design and Implement end-to-end escheatment process
- Analyze and process refunds within fiduciary accounts
- Identify and recommend process improvements that maximize efficiency and minimize risk
- Gather, organize, and analyze large volumes of data.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and financial procedures.
- Reconcile commissions for the Active & Retiree US Health Business
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with financial reporting and operations.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, D365).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Other Requirements:
- Understanding of financial/accounting regulations and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
