Job Summary
In this role, you will administer training requirements for an assigned corporate function. You will work with your clients to identify training requirements, define curricula and matrices, and develop assignment profiles. You will capture training activities in the Learning Management System (LMS) accurately. You will work with content owners to observe best practices in the design of programs and quizzes and how they can be deployed through the LMS. You will ensure that managers, content owners, and other key stakeholders have access to the LMS and understand the functionality that is available to them, including reporting functionality. You will respond to access issues and troubleshoot other problems. You will serve as a resource and advisor to Learning and Development specialists. You will ensure that use and administration of the LMS is in compliance with West, customer, industry and regulatory requirements. To be successful in this role you must be able to work independently, take initiative, work seamlessly as a member of a global team and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of curricula in accordance with best practices, ensuring the accuracy of training assignment profiles and compliance with West, customer, industry and regulatory requirements. Govern assignment of learning activities through the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. Periodically review and update curricula.
- Contribute to efforts to standardize, optimize, and simplify compliance-based training by analyzing system capabilities and process flows and developing processes that leverage system functionality and HR systems interfaces.
- Advise and assist content owners with deployment of enterprise training with consideration for language requirements, assignment profiles, and scheduling. Ensure content owners have access to reporting and information on training efficacy and completion.
- Manage the content within the LMS by uploading and organizing learning materials, such as e-learning modules, videos, documents, and assessments. Ensure that the content is properly categorized, tagged, and accessible to the intended audiences. Coordinate integration of 3rd party learning platforms with provider and D&T.
- Assess reporting needs and pursue opportunities to enable managers, content others and other key stakeholders to access data and insights through the LMS, Power BI, and other means. Work closely with HR People Analytics and Digital & Transformation (D&T) to address data needs and accessibility through reports and dashboards. Respond to ad hoc data requests.
- Support functional managers and Global L&D to identify and develop future digital learning opportunities.
- Support functional managers to map out training plans and schedules, and design and develop tailored programs.
- Communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders across the globe and across different timezones.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in HR Information Systems, Learning & Development, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in learning operations, use of learning management systems and related technology, learning & development, training coordination or systems administration
- Well versed in Microsoft Office tools, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience preferably in aSAP/SuccessFactors environment including user and system support and content management.
- Aptitude to learn software, operating systems and applications
- Helpdesk, administration and/or customer service type background
- Detail oriented
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a global team setting, while managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues
- Willingness to acquire and maintain knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and other systems
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working within tight deadlines.
