ROLE: SAP Material Management Consultant
Role Description
The MM Consultant will be responsible for issue diagnosis, analysis, process design, evaluation, prototype, configuration and solutioning of the Material management and Inventory Management functions in a project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES On PROJECTS
- Understanding client's system and assisting clients in support of SAP S4 HANA Material Management Products Processes.
- Actively assist mentors and coach in the project thereby creating a path of on the job learning
- Prompt and decent communication with client, also within organization, with regards to the concern or issues raised within the prescribed SLA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES For BRISTLECONE MM PRACTICE
- Understanding, analysing, explore and test new areas in S4HANA Materials Management
- Conduct trainings on implementation. Document the trainings in Bristlecone internal system
- Build strong business relationships with potential clients
- Obtain SAP Certifications in Material Management and relevant MM Modules
Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP S4 HANA Material Management for RB 7
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP S4 HANA Material Management for RB 6
- Functional proficiency in Green field Implementations or Rollouts or Upgradation or Migration specific to SAP ECC Material management
- Experience in Support and CR Development to be considered
- Certification in SAP MM and SAP S4HANA Sourcing and Procurement will be an added advantage
PROCESS KNOWLEDGE
- In depth domain knowledge in the SAP requisitioning and Ordering
- Main Material management processes sub modules like Procurement processes, scheduling agreements, contracts, release strategy, batch management, inventory management, split valuation, Service procurement.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Configuration knowledge in all the sub modules of SAP MM
- End to end flow of accounting documents
- Ability to work on Standard configuration scenarios along with writing functional specifications
- Basic understanding of integration with other modules of SAP especially FI, SD, PP, QM, CO
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
- Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams Should have 8 to 9 years of SAP GRC Security experience
- Must have worked on at least 3 support projects at various levels
- Must possess at least 3 end to end implementation experience
Technical Skills
- Provide SAP security access request recommendations based upon guidance from SAP technical and functional teams to ensure recommendation aligns with defined business processes.
- Formulate Compliant Access Solution for new implementation and rollouts based on the priority by Business Demand Forum
- Analysing SOD violations through SAP GRC's Access Control AC module
- Identify and assign mitigating controls to violations that cannot be remediated
- An intimate understanding and critical business information of technology skills including segregation of duties principles and business analysis
- Report findings and make recommendations for the correction of noted violations and improvements in operations as per industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings.
- Process SAP user access requests according to defined compliance policies and procedures
- Role Redesign experience.
- Expert at understanding SOD risks and remediating the same at Transaction and Object level
- Highlight and discuss violations with role owners business users for remediation
- Carry out ruleset changes to incorporate custom T Codes
- Design MSMP workflow and troubleshoot workflow related issues
- Design BRF and should be able to troubleshoot issues related to business rules
- Expertise at connector configuration and add on identification for new GRC configuration
- Setting up custom rule set in GRC
- End to End Implementation in SAP Security.
- End to End Implementation in SAP GRC AC 10.0, 10.1 All the 4 components.
- Role Redesign experience.
- Expertise in User Administration, Role Administration, Authorization issues.
- Understands SAP Security Best practices in implementing and maintaining in customer landscapes
- Ability to Analyse SAP Security Risks and provide recommendations
- Provide Firefighter access to business users.
- Defining and assigning Role Approvers, Monitors, Risk ID owners, and Business Units.
- Risk ID creation and assignment of appropriate approvers and monitors for the risk.
- Maintain SAP security roles such as organizational value updates, authorization settings, transaction adds removals, adding removing single roles within composite roles, etc.
