nThe Role

n

nThe Specialist, Finance & Accounting is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.

nKey Responsibilities:

n

nAccounting:

n
    n
  • Manage timely accounting entries in the system to ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.
  • n
  • Understand and manage accounting in foreign currency transactions.
  • n
  • Understand the basics of TDS and GST compliances and factor them into accounting processes.
  • n
n

Banking:

n
    n
  • Manage banking relationships to ensure smooth functioning of payments, receipts, and other banking transactions, including foreign remittances.
  • n
n

Vendor and Client Management:

n
    n
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and vendors.
  • n
  • Ensure all approved vendor invoices are logged in the system.
  • n
  • Coordination for payments and receipts with relevant vendors and clients.
  • n
n

Financial Review:

n
    n
  • Conduct weekly reviews of accounts to identify and address any pending entries.
  • n
n

Audit and Compliance:

n
    n
  • Assist in internal and statutory audits.
  • n
  • Maintain proper documentation records to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • n
n

Reporting:

n
    n
  • Provide regular reports to the Finance Manager on work progress and financial performance.
  • n
n

Process Improvement:

n
    n
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • n
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and take the lead in implementing changes.
  • n
n

About you

n

nAs a Senior Associate Accounting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. You will be responsible for managing accounting entries, banking relationships, and compliance matters to support the company's financial health and growth.

n

nQualifications and Experience:

n
    n
  • At least 3-4 years of work experience in core accounting and compliance.
  • n
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, Xero, Keka, or similar tools.
  • n
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including foreign currency transactions and tax implications.
  • n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • n
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • n
n

Additional Skills (Preferred):

n
    n
  • Experience in the IT services industry.
  • n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • n
n
