Roles And Responsibilities
Design and specification of multi mega-watt frequency converters for use in wind turbine generators (DFIG or FSC).
Integration of the main converter into the wind turbine system in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations and taking into account the requirements of all specialist disciplines including support in troubleshooting operations.
Creation and review of technical documentation as well as support and organization of factory acceptance tests, hall tests and field commissioning. Status change of components in SAP (release/block...). Examination and evaluation of results from acceptance tests and tests Internal specifications in the form of specifications and/or company standards for the main frequency converter system.
Processing customer inquiries and internal inquiries as well as representing Senvion's interests with suppliers, external service
providers and internal customers.
Provision of the technical documentation required in the company and ensuring documentation management and
creating/initiating risk assessments and FMEAs and carrying out the resulting measure
Skillset
4-10 years of experience in Power electronics / power converters for wind applications
Worked with Electrical Generators, Power systems, Electrical grid codes
Control technics for power electronics
Modelling and Simulation power electronics for wind turbines in Matlab/Simulink
Working in an international team/environment
