We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to work with R&D DevOps teams, Cloud DevOps and LOBs. Managing hybrid-multi cloud environment, infra & DevOps solutions. The Engineer will work with Israel and Pune RnD Team as well as other support teams across the Globe.
As an DevOps engineer you will be working with the DevOps reps (internally and externally), R&D engineers and IT specialists to gather requirements, architect, design and implement AWS architecture references that meets our customers requirements, with best practices in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of DevOps strategies and solutions, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
- Architect, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Drive the adoption and integration of DevOps tools and practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment and release management.
- Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Lead efforts to improve security posture by implementing best practices for code security, access control, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in DevOps and cloud computing.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing DevOps solutions
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Azure DevOps
- Deep understanding of Maven build automation tool, including configuring and managing projects, dependencies, and plugins effectively
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment
