About the Job:
This position is a Lead Cyber Security, responsible for the for working with the upstream application team members or DBAs for validating and preparing an application or database for onboarding, applications and database to the Application Security Logging and Alarming (ASLA) and Database Security Logging and Alarming (DSLA) platform, in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.

Location: Hyderabad or Bengaluru
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working with the upstream internal team members and communicating with the application team members or database administrators for validating and preparing an application or database for onboarding
- Validate and prepare applications or databases to go through the onboarding factory
- Assist and provide expert best practices in adoption, expansion, additional use cases and in configuring and managing the Splunk environment
- Participate in the intermediate and final phases of onboarding Validate, Onboard, and Operationalize Phases as applicable
Primary / Mandatory skills:
Overall 8+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of experience in years of application and platform architecture experience, Application and Platform Architecture; Software Development Lifecycle
- 4+ years of Splunk architecture and trouble shooting in an enterprise environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced Splunk architecture and know-how
- Splunk dashboard development
- Technical monitoring; Connectivity troubleshooting
- Source Governance
- UNIX shell scripting, distributed and extended source monitoring
- Solutioning and platform architecture and design
- Proven track record in Project management skillset
- General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)
- Demonstrate Analytical Thinking,
- Provide Technical team leadership
- Deep understanding of IT Environment and Governance
- BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems
Technical Skills: UNIX shell scripting, Splunk Architecture and Administration, Application and Database Lifecycle, SIEM and incident management process,
Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.
