- Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted :24,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.
- Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path
The work involves creating learning content for students between the ages of 16-20 coming from low socio-economic backgrounds to help them build entrepreneurial mindsets and competencies. The learning content will be a combination of textual materials and some audio-video resources in collaboration with in-house designers.
Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an entrepreneurship curriculum designer who can accomplish the following:
- Talking to students on field and understanding their needs and requirements
- Researching relevant content on the topics and create frameworks
- Design content in interactive formats
- Collecting feedback on the effectiveness of the content and iterating it
- Collaborating with product & monitoring & evaluation teams to gather data on effectiveness of the programme
- Collaborating with mentors and subject-matter experts to fine tune the content
- User-test the content on field to validate if the data meets the desired outcomes
- Conduct training sessions for facilitators associated with the programmes
Skills, Experience & Mindsets:
- Have a strong grasp of instructional design, conceptualising and communicating information/content in an interactive way.
- Have a growth mindset
- Have good knowledge of business and entrepreneurship concepts, life skills and 21st century skills
- Comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback.
- Are comfortable spending a good amount of time on the field and interacting deeply with the learners and facilitators.
- Have good knowledge of using basic design tools.
- Can exhibit high ownership as well as collaboration, when working within a team.
- Can work in an ambiguous environment
- Are proficient with Malayalam and English.
Commitment: 6-8 months, can be renewed based on performance/ requirement
