Your Role
As a Business Analytics and Insights Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in analysing data, creating meaningful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business outcomes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract insights from data and contribute to the success of our GBS functions.

Who You Are
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written)
Primary Skills
Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Four years or more of experience in large, matrixed organizations
- Experience in analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau or Qliksense. Certification in Business analytics is highly desirable.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience in data processing tools like DBT, Alteryx, Dataiku etc
- Exposure to AWS data services (Lambda, S3 data handling, RDS/CosmosDB etc) is a strong plus
Secondary Skills
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through data solutions.
- Experience in working with GBS functions or similar shared services environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset : Ability to develop eye-catching reports and charts that convey the message clearly and crisply.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work on a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data technologies to drive innovation
Job Description/ Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse data from various GBS domains (Finance, Procurement, HR etc) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for business leaders and stakeholders.
- Business Insights and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with domain experts to understand business requirements and challenges.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve operational efficiency, cost savings, and compliance.
- Support decision-making processes by presenting clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- SQL Expertise:
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, HR, and others, to understand their data & analytics needs.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
