Bloomingdale International School in Vijayawada is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish Teacher for a full-time position. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive Spanish language education, promoting a deep understanding and appreciation of Spanish culture, and enhancing students communication skills in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement an engaging Spanish language curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Incorporate elements of Spanish-speaking cultures, history, and contemporary society into the curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching materials and approaches to cater to different learning styles.
Instruction:
- Deliver effective Spanish language lessons to diverse student groups.
- Adapt teaching methods to address varying student needs and learning abilities.
- Integrate technology and multimedia tools to enrich language learning experiences.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Regularly assess student progress in language acquisition.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to support student learning.
- Adjust teaching strategies based on assessment outcomes.
Cultural Enrichment:
- Organize and facilitate cultural activities, events, and projects related to Spanish-speaking countries.
- Encourage students to engage in language immersion and cultural exploration activities.
Extracurricular Involvement:
- Lead Spanish language clubs, workshops, or extracurricular programs.
- Facilitate opportunities for students to practice Spanish in real-life contexts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Spanish, Education, or a relevant field.
- Teaching certification in Spanish, if required.
- Experience in teaching Spanish at the specified educational level.
