Sourcing Intern

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Freelancer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of sourcing materials and components for production. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

1. Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and lead time. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Continuously assess market trends, pricing, and availability of materials.

2. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for sourced materials and finished products. Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Collaborate with the quality control team to address any deviations from quality standards.

3. Cost Management: Work to optimize costs through effective negotiation, bulk purchasing, and supplier relationship management. Analyze and report on cost variances, proposing cost-saving initiatives where possible.

4. Communication: Act as a liaison between suppliers, production teams, and customers to facilitate smooth order execution. Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on material availability, production status, and delivery timelines.
