Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of electronics component sourcing
- Knowledge in designing alternative components
- Relationship with key suppliers / manufacturers / distributors / dealers of electronic components
- Sound knowledge of currency fluctuation and contracts
- Working knowledge on international transactions and logistics to arrive at landed component cost
- Monitoring the inventory movement; deeper understanding of inventory management
- Drafting and executing strong contracts with suppliers
- Negotiation skills on price with suppliers
- Assess the quote and compile a detailed breakdown
Requirements and skills
- 3-5 years of experience in EMS / Electronics companies
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics & Communications
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Expertise in price and terms negotiations with all the vendors
