As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for handling the company s end to end sourcing operations.
The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Source, develop alternate suppliers and qualify Support all NPI programs Cost Estimation, Negotiation & Drive cost reduction, Value Engineering,
Materials follow up and monitoring deliveries for the desired production lots.
Parts inspection at supplier place and acceptance before shipment.
Supplier relationship management, address any supplier concerns, issues etc Other value engineering initiatives
Works across different divisions within the company including design, engineering, manufacturing, and also with external agencies like suppliers, test labs, subcontractors etc,
Providing supplier feedback, manufacturing challenges, market intelligence and other design/engineering related aspects to the internal design/engineering/mfg teams.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors as needed
Coordinate with stores for preparing the GRN report, acceptance/rejections reconciliation process..
Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required
Maintaining the PO tracker to ensure the vendor payment list.
Prepare necessary inspection reports, other documentation and sign off for acceptance of materials as per the specifications.
