Job Description: Solution Architect for Observability Product

Job Summary: The Solution Architect for our observability product will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of observability tools, cloud infrastructure, and software architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

Design end-to-end observability solutions that include monitoring, logging, and tracing.

Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation for proposed solutions.

Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in observability and cloud infrastructure.

Client Engagement:

Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Present architectural solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of observability solutions.

Work with DevOps teams to integrate observability tools into CI/CD pipelines.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and security assessments of observability solutions.

Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on observability solutions.

Proficiency in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jaeger, etc.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
