Role Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Functional Campus Solutions Analyst specializing in Student Records. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Campus Solutions student records functionality and a solid understanding of program enrollment, activity management, and curriculum management. This role involves functional design, testing, and some technical skills to ensure our Campus Solutions student records processes meet the needs of our institution.
Requirements
- Functional Design
- Analyze and understand business requirements for student records processes and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design and configure Campus Solutions student records functionality to meet different institutional needs.
- Ensure the student records module integrates seamlessly with other Campus Solutions modules, such as Academic Structures and Campus Community.
- Provide input on system enhancements and new functionality based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Testing
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for the student records functionality.
- Conduct system, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the student records module performs as expected.
- Identify, document, and resolve defects and issues in the student records system.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure test environments are correctly configured and maintained.
- Technical Skills
- Utilize basic technical skills to support the functional configuration of the student records module.
- Work with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to student records functionality.
- Understand and apply technical concepts to enhance the performance and usability of the student records system.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Education, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Campus Solutions student records functionality.
- Understanding of Program Enrollment, Activity Management, and Curriculum Management within Campus Solutions.
- General knowledge of other areas of Campus Solutions, especially Academic Structures and Campus Community functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education or related industry.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
