Position: Solution Test Engineer Network Security & Cloud (Bangalore, WFO)
We are seeking a Solution Test Engineer in Bangalore (Work From Office) with expertise in automation testing using Python and network testing. If you have a solid background in network security, cloud infrastructure, and are passionate about replicating complex customer environments and driving product quality, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and replicate customer network and cloud topologies in-house for testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by reproducing problems in the lab.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans with a focus on automation testing (Python) and network testing.
- Automate functional and regression tests to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to align on release goals and ensure robust test coverage.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in solution or product testing, focusing on automation testing with Python.
- Proven experience in network testing and API testing is mandatory.
- Strong background in network security/cybersecurity, L2/L3 network technologies, and cloud infrastructure (vSphere, KVM, OpenStack, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with next-gen firewalls, IDS, IPS, and microsegmentation.
- Proficiency in network traffic generation and debugging tools such as iperf, TCPdump, and hping.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, MongoAtlas.
- Exposure to Ansible/Terraform is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
