Department Overview
Corporate Actions consists of a powerful combination of enterprise technology solutions and managed data services that help financial institutions across all capital market segments in their asset servicing and post trade processing. Tax is another set of enterprise technology solutions supporting clients help with Tax related services.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team to design and implement solutions addressing business requirements. He/she will also be required to develop technology specifications and perform POCs per requirements.
Duties & accountabilities
- Design and implement business/technical solutions.
- Assess business requirement of the client and prepare technical specifications.
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
- Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.
- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

Education and experience
B.E., B. Tech or MCA with 10 12 Year experience
Commercial awareness
Management requirements
Strong inter-personal skills required. Ability to multitask and prioritize work.

Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
Expert in
Java Programming language and associated technologies like JMS, Kafka, API, multithreading etc. and Python
Expert in
XML technologies (such as XSD and XSLT, json and json schema, yaml)
SQL skill is essential. Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle database and ability to work with other relational databases such as SQL server / MySQL/ DB2/Postgress etc.
A proven track record in meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment and ability to multi task
Proficiency in implementing reliable, complex, secure, high performance and scalable solutions.
Knowledge of
market standard protocols and interfaces (such as
SWIFT, ISO15022, ISO20022 etc.) is preferred.
Basic Knowledge in the
financial services sector in custody services, investment management is preferred. Experience in projects focusing on
variousfacets of integration is preferred. Real time integrations with focus on client integration with a Services Oriented Architecture/ESB and Data Integrations (batch integrations and data migrations).
Communication
Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.
Teamwork
Ability to collaborate in a team environment. Experience in Agile development methodology is preferred.
