Your role and responsibilities
- Supporting strategic technology management and future product, software or solution architecture
- Initiating and driving R&D efforts using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area
- Identifying and maximizing customer and business value created by their own activities in the context of ABB's overall offering
- Managing or coordinating major technology or engineering projects, product platforms of substantial impact to their own organization
- Providing support for resolving customer issues, guides and coaching on robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in applying the lessons learned to ensure timely and high-quality results
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 12 to 15 years of total work experience
- Must have 7 plus years of good programming, debugging skills using at least any one of it Python, Typescript, Java or C#.NET Core
- Must have 3 plus years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud platform or similar as a developer of serverless solutions with AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification from Amazon or equivalent
- Experience with cloud applications design, in particular IoT, Data Lakes and knowledge of front-end technologies
- Strong understanding of Serverless and Microservices based container architectures, design patterns
