About The Role
- Lead the definition of functional requirements for assigned projects and work with Project Management to translate requirements into specific plans and tasks in line with the implementation methodology
- Conduct design workshops with the customer and firm up the overall solution design for ONESOURCE Tax Provision implementation
- Analyze client tax provision workpapers and create workpapers for transfer into ONESOURCE Tax Provision software
- Reconcile results from software to client tax provision workpapers
- Implement tax solution that includes, configuration of ONESOURCE tax provision product, interaction with technical team for customizations or reports development if needed
- Perform proof of concepts and conduct demo/walkthrough of the prototype with the client stakeholders
- Work with the customer to develop testing scenarios, to be process flows and data flows
- Perform unit testing, integration/system testing and user acceptance testing of the implemented solution
- Develop required project documents for implementation of ONESOURCE tax provision solution
- Assist the project manager with preparation of production cutover plan and conduct project go live activities
- Train client personnel on use of software solutions and business practices.
- Plan and organize handover to product support team after production go live and hyper care support
- Deliver projects within scope according to budget and schedule.
- Assist pre-sales and sales team with proposal development that includes gathering business requirements to determine additional functionality requirements, reporting requirements; recommend a high level solution design, Scoping implementation services based on client requirements, prepare work estimate and preparation of statement of work.
- Make presentations on the software products to prospective clients
- Identify client needs and tailor a proposed solution to meet such need.
About You
- 15+ years of experience working for consulting or professional services organizations ie. Systems Integrators, Big-4 specializing in implementation of enterprise direct tax products like ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Hyperion Tax Provision OR any other such tax provision product
- Experience in Corporate Income Tax / Tax Provision / Deferred Tax / 1120 US returns, ASC740 (FAS 109) preferred
- Exposure to Tax Department processes, Tax Provisions, data management is preferred
- Understanding of Global Minimum Tax would be an advantage
- Knowledge of GL/Financial module of Oracle ERP or SAP desired
- Experience with tax research and planning, preparation of income tax work papers using Corporate Income tax software to prepare returns, calculating quarterly estimated tax, filing extensions and tracking of tax credits will be an added advantage.
- Strong business process and analytical skills are essential.

- Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects in various stages of implementation
- Strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel to customer locations
