Job Title: Solution Architect (Data and API)

Location: Pune, Maharashtra.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect with a focus on data storage, data analytics,

data management, and API design to join our team. The Solution Architect will play a crucial

role in designing and implementing robust solutions that leverage data effectively and

securely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, data

architecture, API design, and project management, along with excellent communication

skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data-related

objectives.

Design end-to-end data solutions that encompass data storage, data analytics, data

management, and API interfaces.

Develop architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed implementation

plans for data-centric projects.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on data-related aspects

throughout the project lifecycle.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance data

capabilities and API design.

Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance with established data standards and

best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in data storage,

analytics, management, and API design.

Serve as a subject matter expert on data storage technologies, data analytics tools,

data management practices, and API design principles.

Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant experience.

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

(Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with a focus on data and API

design.

Strong proficiency in software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.

Deep understanding of data storage technologies (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL

databases, data lakes).

Expertise in data analytics tools and techniques for deriving insights from large

datasets.

Solid knowledge of data management practices, including data governance, data

quality, and data security.

Experience working with and designing APIs, including RESTful APIs and microservices

architecture.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-related challenges.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred relevant certifications in data management, data analytics, or API design

(e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer, API

Academy Certified API Architect).

Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms (e.g., AWS S3,

Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics).

Familiarity with on-premises and cloud-based data storage solutions, including SMB

(Server Message Block), S3 (Simple Storage Service), NFS (Network File System), and

other distributed file systems.

Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
