Job Description
We are looking for Senior Data Architect to join FC India IT Architecture team. In this role, you will define analytics solutions and guide engineering teams to implement big data solutions on the cloud on the cloud across a variety of engagements like experimentation, proof of concepts and production deployments for this, ensuring reuse and alignment to Ford standards and global value delivery framework.
This role will provide architecture guidance to the data engineering teams in India and US. Work involves migrating data from legacy on-prem warehouses to Google cloud data platform. The data architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.

Ford Credit IT is looking for a proficient Solution Archtiect who is having excellent hands-on in Mobile app Development using iOS Native with Swift, Swift UI and Android Native with Kotlin,Jetpack Compose adhering software engineering practices.
Solution Achtiect will build the scalable and fully available technical solutions in Digital space with team of software engineers based out of India and will be responsible to support global markets.
Build and maintain digital expertise by researching latest industry trends and standards, driving innovation through PoCs and experiments using Mobile SDK's and the platforms.
Driving discussions and lead the decision making on all engineering aspects of his/her team
Ability to define and execute the engineering roadmap for the areas under his/her ownership.
Drive engineering best practices for the team using various tools and stacks available.
Define, implement, and maintain the health of the systems (both engineering and processes) for the areas under his/her ownership.
Proactive discussion with product and business in understanding the roadmap and proposing appropriate engineering solutions.
Ability to come up with engineering solutions with the data driven insights.
Extensive experience in Swift Package Manager,CocoaPods,JFrog,Gradle,Maven etc.
Must have experience in deploying apps to the stores using automated scripts.
Lead overall Mobile development from Engineering team and able to collaborate with cross functional teams based on the module being worked upon.
Ability to integrate with various customer engagement and analytics platform.
Ability to understand and create appropriate configuration on those platforms.
Ability to integrate the GraphQL from Native Mobile app.
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining concurrency, queues and threading mechanisms available in Native iOS and Android.
Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.
Experience with push notification solutions others than Firebase would be preferred.
Strong sense of code with ability to review code using SonarQube, Check Marx, rework and deliver Quality code.
Experience in Enterprise data analytics, Reporting and Monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, healthnut etc
Strong Integration Architecture experience with thorough understanding of the low level and high level design of mobile apps.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience working on Digital transformation preferably on mobile apps.
- Able to guide and drive the team based on the cross functional alignments.
Strong hands on knowledge in iOS
- Able to make data driven decisions to align engineering and product roadmap.
- Participate and collaborate with the engineering team ceremonies to drive execution of the various program part of Mobile platform.
- Should have knowledge on basic cloud services and infrastructure as a code.
- Experience in SRE in Tekton,GitOps,Bitrise,Jenkins and ability to coordinate various activities of the services considering observability, traceability and monitoring aspects.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.
- Experience deployment using source control using change sets and CICD pipelines.
