This is an excellent opportunity to be one of the key people involved in governing digital and marketing platforms and roadmap across the organisation. As part of the Corporate Technology Architecture team, your role is to guide, advise, and recommend how our digital landscape evolves over the coming years and support the delivery teams offering outstanding solutions.
We are looking for someone with many years working in digital and marketing technologies as an Architect, especially Content Management systems (AEM, Drupal, WordPress), Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform and other key Marketing Technologies. We will be especially interested in architects with experience in leading Content Management Systems for multiple brands and handling multi-million visitors per month.
The right candidate will have good communication skills with knowledge of Digitial and Marketing technologies to interact optimally with their business partners and provide Technical Leadership.
Positive relationships with broader Corporate Technology team, other Technology teams covering Enterprise Architecture team, security, networking, End User Compute and Cloud and business partners in corporate business functions e.g. User Experience, SEO, Analytics, Personalisation, Risk & Compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and work well with other multi-functional teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to internal teams for maximising their digital marketing effectiveness.
- Contribute to Customer's digital marketing strategies based on industry standard methodologies.
- Ensure all architects working in the domain understand the architecture principles, policies, and standards to produce function-specific reference architectures and solutions and ensures adhere to these.
- Be a great partner with members of Corporate Technology leadership to influence the adoption of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, standards, and policies.
- Improve relationships with vendors, regulators, and industry bodies to seek and embrace industry standard methodologies in enterprise architecture and technology strategy.
- Act as trusted advisor and leader across the wider LSEG Technology.
- To be the lead architect to work with other architects to define the end-to-end solution & design covering all involved systems, data, integration, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Handle the quality and work efficiency of a team of architects across the corporate technology domain to define and deliver end to end architecture solutions aligned to the strategy and roadmaps.
- Ensure all solutions follow Corporate Technology and enterprise solution standards, align with the overall roadmap, have good quality documentation, and follow all relevant governance steps.
- Drive and establish Centre of Excellence (CoE) for key strategic platforms in the domain. e.g. Adobe Experience manager
- Help project team to size & estimate project implementation and identify resources and abilities needed for delivery of solution.
Critical Tasks
- Deliver an effective architecture covering Customer Experience that complements the overall Corporate Technology Architecture and the central architecture strategy
- All Solution Architecture activities for the domain are delivered in a timely manner, to a high standard and follow appropriate governance with 100% audit trail
- Implement Corporate Technology aligned domain-based Governance Functions that feed into the Corporate Technology Architecture Review Board framework whilst enabling agile and rapid delivery of technology in line with business goals, risk and control appetite
- Support the implementation of an architectural strategy for Corporate Technology that enables open and action-orientated partnership across all Corporate Technology to provide clear and quick decisions to downstream teams.
- Expertise in articulated Solution Architecture Document that includes details on end to solution from a conceptual, logical and physical level
- Capturing approvals for the solution architecture through the LSEG Governance processes
Technical/job functional knowledge
- Detailed knowledge on Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, Cloud and Security
- Detailed knowledge of operational, delivery management (including experience in a variety of delivery methodologies), business development and strategy an transformation programmes
- 10+ Years of experienced in architecting, delivering, and supporting of following:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Adobe Analytics
- Dynamic Media
- Enterprise Search Solutions like Apache Solr; Elastic Search
- Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred) or Azure
- Expertise and understanding of end-to-end DevOps tools and processes.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and standard methodologies on topics such as personalisation, cross channel marketing, mobile, data-driven optimisation of experiences
