Job Title: Technical Head (Projects & Execution)

Job Summary:
The Technical Head will be responsible for the design and execution of solar projects in the assigned region. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Compensation:
- Salary: INR 720,000 to 960,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Additional Bonuses: Up to INR 150,000 per year based on performance.
Qualifications:
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Energy
- PG: M.Tech in Project Management, Technical Design & Procurement
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar industry, covering off-grid, on-grid, products, and projects.
Key Skills and Competencies Required:
- Extensive technical and electrical knowledge of solar PV systems
- Proven design and execution field experience (minimum 5 years)
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Proficient in cost-effective project analysis, from site selection to post-implementation and O&M
- Capable of independent project planning and execution within assigned budgets
- Skilled in procurement, project ownership, and project planning
- Excellent electrical and site execution skills
- Competency in accounting and cost optimization
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess the feasibility of solar panel installations
- Design solar panel layouts, create drawings, and develop single-line diagrams (SLDs)
- Perform cost analysis of bill of materials (BOM) and balance of system (BOS) to create competitive project designs
- Manage projects using cost-effective methods and high-quality standards in accordance with technical SOPs
- Configure projects and devices to meet client requirements and customize products based on market demands
- Execute end-to-end projects at various site locations, independently and with a team of junior engineers
- Optimize costs and procure BOM, BOS, and additional equipment at competitive rates from manufacturers and vendors
- Manage inventory and stock, conduct regular inspections, and oversee supply chain management (SCM)
- Control expenditures and maintain accurate accounting records
- Track revenue collections from EMIs, paybacks, and part-payments, ensuring funds are deposited into bank accounts within 48 hours
- Monitor daily work progress on-site through various tracking and reporting methods
- Install solar panel sites following standard operating procedures
- Conduct community surveys, document, and manage data
- Provide after-sales services and manage customer relationships for operations and maintenance (O&M)
- Regularly perform health checks and maintenance of solar panel sites
- Develop and maintain reporting formats, checklists, and track their progress
