Job Description
As a Solar Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and revenue growth for our solar energy products and services. You will lead a team of sales representatives, setting targets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of sales initiatives. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and fostering strong relationships with customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to enhance the team's performance.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share, penetrate new markets, and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with senior management to define sales objectives and strategies aligned with business goals.
3. Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
4. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and challenges. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
5. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our solar energy products, solutions, and services. Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy, conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions as needed.
6. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, threats, and areas for growth.
7. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and analyze sales data to assess progress against targets and identify areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with overall business objectives. Participate in strategic planning meetings, sharing insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the solar energy industry.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel as needed
