We are looking for a proactive Solar Liaison Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in facilitating the smooth installation and setup of solar net metering systems for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and filing net metering applications, securing necessary approvals from DISCOMs (Distribution Companies), and overseeing the installation of net meters at client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and track net metering applications with the relevant authorities.
- Liaise with DISCOM officials to ensure timely approvals and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with the installation team to schedule meter installations upon approval.
- Maintain accurate records of all applications, approvals, and project statuses.
- Address any issues or delays related to DISCOM approvals and work toward efficient resolutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, etc.).
- Proven experience in solar project coordination, especially with net metering and DISCOMs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel for tracking project statuses and data management.
- Ability to draft clear, professional emails and maintain effective written communication.
