Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Solar Specialist to join our team. The Pre-Sales Solar Specialist will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, conducting site assessments, preparing proposals, and assisting in the development of solar energy solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar energy installations.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized solar energy solutions.
Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets, timelines, and feasibility studies.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in solar energy technology.
Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote solar energy solutions and generate leads.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required by management.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in solar energy system design, installation, or sales, preferably in a pre-sales role.
Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, batteries, and other related components.
Familiarity with solar energy software tools for system design and simulation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Knowledge of local regulations, incentives, and permitting requirements related to solar energy installations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
