Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Engineer at PeriUrja Energy in Bengaluru. The Solar Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as solar industry research, solar power system design, PV design, electrical design, and implementing solar systems. The Solar Engineer will also collaborate with the team to optimize power generation and transmission processes.
Project Planning:
- Planning & Procurement of R/M
- Batch Order Planning.
- Preparation of Purchase Orders
- Review of customer P.O
- Sub-Vendor Identification, Development and final approval
- Valuation of supplier based upon their performance
Project Execution:
- Identifies problems and develops coercive action plans.
- Schedules and executes preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Travels to project sites and vendor locations as assigned to perform all aspects of onsite installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as required.
- Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims.
Qualifications
- Solar Industry, Solar Power, and Solar Systems knowledge
- PV Design and Electrical Design skills
- Experience in designing and implementing solar systems
- Knowledge of energy generation and transmission processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
