Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties
- Perform site surveys to evaluate solar potential and determine appropriate system size and configuration
- Create detailed project plans, including system layout, electrical and mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications
- Install and commission solar systems, including mounting hardware, wiring, inverters, and monitoring equipment
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technologies, and make recommendations for system improvements
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and expertise during client consultations
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in solar energy systems design, installation, and maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy technology, including photovoltaic cells, inverters, and monitoring systems
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Pvsys and Pvsol
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to solar energy systems
