This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Software Testing Analyst to join our team. The Software Testing Analyst will detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected prior to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Perform testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems
- Record and document results and conduct comparison to expected results
- Document anomalies and issues
- Maintain database of software defects
- Coordinate and collect feedback on user acceptance testing
- Explore automated testing solutions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Quality assurance, auditing and testing experience.
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Ability to independently make decisions and problem solve.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and organize.
- Experience with software development life cycle and methodologies.
- Communication skills to work with involved stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar system.
